Activities

At Penns Mount we understand individual tastes, and interests vary greatly so we create a mix of activities and events that will appeal to all our residents.

Our home has a designated Activity Coordinator.  The activities reflect the needs and abilities of the residents.

Activities include - films, quizzes, exercise, arts and crafts, professional entertainment, visiting library, tea parties, and memory lane sessions.   Penns Mount hosts coffee mornings in the garden on pleasant warm days, encouraging walking groups to meander around the grounds.

Other services on offer include a weekly hair dresser, an aromatherapist, and an in-house shop selling toiletries. sweets and treats.  Seasonal visits are provided by a retail clothing company.   

The local C of E church provides regular communion services at the Home, accompanied by Mary the pianist. 

Participation is purely voluntary and we look forward to residents families making suggestions and actively sharing in the social calendar.
